The Challenge
It’s an application for those who found themselves in a vulnerable situation and needed help during the quarantine amid the Covid-19 pandemic. Its proposal is to help these individuals find volunteers in their area, so that those who are available and at lower risk can perform tasks on behalf of the person who is more susceptible to complications.
The volunteer goes to the market or pharmacy on behalf of someone else, not only helping individuals who preferably should not leave their homes, but also promoting the reduction of people in outdoor and indoor environments.
Y Work
My role involved developing illustrations for the introduction and onboarding process of the application. The project’s visual communication was being developed simultaneously and already had defined colors but did not yet have a visual pattern for the illustrations. After conducting research on the presentation of the application, its audience, definition of concepts, and messages conveyed by each screen, the style was defined.
It was necessary to convey a warm, comfortable, and, of course, secure feeling. The application conveys a message of kindness, unity, and empathy with a good impression of modernity and simplicity. It’s about simple acts that can help save someone’s life.
