The Challenge

MODESTA is a fictional band that is part of an exciting project of original character design and comic book stories created by the talented Brazilian artist Jenifer Ramos. With an engaging narrative, the story unveils the relationships and events that permeate the lives of the characters and band members.

The main goal of the project was to develop a modern and striking visual identity for MODESTA. Through a vibrant color palette and contemporary visual elements, MODESTA’s visual identity reflects the bold and daring personality of the characters. Each illustration and graphic was carefully designed to convey the creative and captivating universe created by the artist. It’s an expression of art that uniquely combines music and visuals.

Lettering and Styles

The goal of the project was to create an identity for the band within the main story, allowing the author the freedom to unfold the brand in various ways, bringing reality to fiction by applying the identity not only within the comic itself but also across websites, stationery, merchandise, etc.

We chose modern, bold, and condensed typefaces to convey the impact that matches MODESTA’s attitude. For the logo, we developed a lettering style based on the same aesthetic.
